April 20: Well known brand in the fashion designing industry, Sabyasachi Mukherjee has recently collaborated with the homeware brand Nilaya in order to launch a line of luxury wall coverings and furnishings.
This launch happened alongside a campaign featuring Bollywood celebrity Deepika Padukone. This collaborative collection consists of wall-coverings with the prints series of Sabyasachi including a dusky rose paisley print, green floral paisley print, palm tree print, a stripe and floral print and deep red jungle-inspired print among other themes. Other than this, the furnishings include lampshades, cushion covers, and upholstery fabric to cover the sofas and armchairs also has unique and trendy design prints.
The collection is named Heartland: the Journey Back Home, as the collection, gives a major nostalgic feels to the viewers. The collection mirrors Sabyasachi’s clothing and jewellery design and draws inspiration from the brand’s interior decoration of the jewellery boutique.

Shot by fashion photographer Tarun Khiwal, the campaign of the new collection features Deepika Padukone in a series of opulent interiors with the Sabyasachi wallpaper and furnishings. Also, the campaign features props by The Great Eastern Home and The Raj Company.
A home furnishings brand, Nilaya is launched by Asian Paints and the brand retails from Asian Paints’ dedicated e-commerce platform. The collaborative line with Sabyasachi is also launched on this platform.
Recently, Nilaya also collaborated with Good Earth, a lifestyle and fashion brand on a home furnishings line that also has a online available platform.
