Fashion designer Tarun Tahiliani is all set to launch ‘The Kashida Collection’ at two showcases from 24 January to 28 January in New Delhi.
The collection features lightweight womenswear designed with Kashida embroidery using colorful threads. The showcase is aimed to promote the new collection including a wide variety of clothing from lehengas to sarees to anarkalis.
The capital will witness the showcase in two different places for the upcoming spring season. Firstly, Tahiliani will launch the collection at his Mehrauli flagship store from December 24 to 25. Later, he will present it at his flagship in luxury mall DLF Emporio in Vasant Kunj from December 27 to 28.
After launching the collection in Mumbai on December 16 at Ensemble, Kala Ghoda, the designer has an ongoing showcase of the same at Villar Ville, Colaba to take pre-orders. The showcase kick-started on 20 December and will go on till 21st December.
Commenting on the inspiration behind the collectionTahiliani in an Instagram post stated, “After years of women struggling in cumbersome clothes. I was dying to go back to the lightness and finesse of the clothes I saw growing up.”
