Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) decided to change the dates of MB (matri bhasha) paper. MB and NRB papers were scheduled to conduct in the morning shift on February 14, 2019 by the BSEB. But now the dates are changed for the MB papers.
Both NRB and MB papers are language papers for 50 marks each. Now, NRB paper will held on February 14, 2019 in morning and MB is rescheduled for February 16, 2019, according to the official statement.
For class 12th students the MB exam will now begin at 1:45 pm on February 16, 2019 (Saturday). The board has informed the students and stakeholders about the rescheduled exams through circulars.
On February 13, through an official notice, BSEB has circulated the information to district in-charge, government officials, and media houses for the rescheduled MB exam.
A BSEB spokesperson said, “There are two different papers on the same date and therefore, OMR sheet, question paper and answer sheets will be different for both the papers. Both the exams are of language paper, it may happen that students could mark wrong code or attempt on incorrect sheet. For keeping such risks away, we are rescheduling the MB exams to other date”.
“No exam was scheduled on February 16, 2019, so it was right to reschedule the exam to this date,” the spokesperson added.
The spokesperson refused the claims of postponing the exams on the excuse of Valentine’s Day.
The NRB exam is Rajbhasha exam which is a test of Hindi language course and MB exam is Matri Bhasha (Mother language) exam, students have choice between alternative English, Maithli and Urdu.
