Here are some list of the entrance exams in West Bengal that students must check out so that they can opt their courses properly. All of these exams are conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board. (WBJEEB).
West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) is an entrance exam for Undergraduate courses in engineering, technology and pharmacy. Through WBJEE 85 private colleges, 10 government colleges, 8 private universities, 10 universities offers admission. The exam to be held on May 26, 2019.
Joint Entrance for Physiotherapy, Unani, Ayurveda, Homeopathy (JENPUAH) is an exam for admission in 8 courses which includes, B.Sc. Nursing (Bachelor of Nursing), BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy), BASLP (Bachelor of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology), BMLT (Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technician), B.Sc. CCT (B.Sc. in Critical Care Technology), B.Sc. OTT (B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology), B.Sc. PT (B.Sc. in Perfusion technology), B.Sc. PA (B.Sc. in Physician Assistant). JENUPAH exam is to be held on June 30,2019.
Students who want to become Vet, must apply for Entrance in veterinary surgeon (EVET). EVETS is going to held on 29 June, 2019. The West Bengal University of animal and Fishery sciences offers admission in BVSC and AH programmes through EVETS.
JEHOM, for the students who are interested in hotel management. It will held on 13 July, 2019. For admission in BHMTC (Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management and Catering Technology) one have to give the entrance exam of JEHOM.
For UG courses Presidency University offers admissions namely, 3 years B.A / B.Sc through PUBDET held by WBJEE. This university has been ranked 41 among all universities in India.
14 papers are available of which students can apply for any 2 papers. 15 and 16 June, 2019 is the date given for the conducting the exam. Science papers are Chemistry, Economics, Geography, Geology, Life Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics. Humanities and Social Science subjects are namely Bengali, English, Hindi, History, Philosophy / Sociology / Performing Arts, Political Science.
