National Testing Agency (NTA) noticed that many candidates forget to write their name and date with the photo in the application. NTA notice this after a week of online correction window for National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET UG-2019) has been closed.
The NTA in a notification stated that if a candidate forget to upload their name and date with the photograph, his or her application will not be rejected.
The notification stated, “The photograph uploaded by the candidates without name and date and white background are acceptable. The application form will not be rejected in this case”.
31st January, 2019 was the last date for the online correction window of the NEET.
The NEET entrance exam will be conducted on Sunday, May 5, 2019 in a pen and paper mode. From April 25 the admit cards will be available to download. The results will release on June 5, 2019.
NEET is an entrance examination for students in India, who wish to study graduate and postgraduate medical courses and dental courses in government colleges as well as in private medical colleges and dental colleges respectively.
The NEET is a three hour paper and is divided into three sections that is, physics, chemistry and biology.
There are total 180 questions of which 90 would be from biology, 45 from physics and chemistry each. Every right answer fetch plus four marks, wrong answer will result in negative marks and no penalty for questions not attended. Class 11 and 12 whole syllabus of NCERT is the syllabus for preparation.
