West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) examination for 10th class will begin tomorrow in West Bengal.The First paper of WBBSE 10th Exam will be of language paper on February 12, 2019 and the last exam will end with Optional Elective Subjects on February 22nd, 2019.
Control room has been set up by the WBBSE exam board, already started functioning from February 6th, 2019 and will continue functioning till 22nd February, 2019.
Basic information have been given which included, each day only one paper will be held from 11:45 am to 3:00 pm. First fifteen minutes are allotted to read the question paper. From 12:00 am to 3:00 pm onwards students will be allowed to write the paper.
The Examination in Shorthand and Typewriting will be held at Kolkata and Siliguri only. The venue and date for the examination will be announced later by the board.
Sewing and needle work examination will be of duration four hour and fifteen minutes, whereas, the examination of music vocal, music instrumental and computer application will be of two hours fifteen minutes and two hours forty minutes respectively. The practical examination for computer application will be conducted by the individual schools.
According to the PTI, invigilators are forbid to carry cellphone inside the examination hall during the Madhyamik Exam, WBBSE said.
To turn aside the malpractices Board President Kalyanmoy Ganguly told reporters, invigilators have to hand over the cellphone to the venue-in-charge who will be a government official before 30 minutes of the start of the examination.
Disciplinary action, including tghe suspension will be taken against those contravening the rules, he added.
Students are also not allowed to carry the cellphones in the earlier edition of the examination.
Ganguly said the centre officer in charge, centre secretary ,venue supervisor,venue in charge and additional supervisor have been permitted to use cellphones.
