On Monday, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee wished the students those who are appearing for West Bengal board Madhyamik, Fazil, Alim, High Madrasa. Mamata Banerjee Tweeted, “Heartiest wish to every participants of West Bengal board Madhyamik examinations,”.
The WBBSE 10th exam will begin from tomorrow, Tuesday and will continue till February 22, 2019. The board has made arrangements to prevent the malpractices.Invigilators are barred to take their mobile phones in the examination hall during the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education. Even the students are not allowed to take their cellphones in the examination. Invigilators have to hand over their cellphones to the venue in-charge who will be the government official,”Board President Kalyanmoy Ganguly said.
The CM, in another tweet, mentioned that the female gender ratio in higher education institutions has increased from 42 per cent in 2010-11 to 47.3 per cent. “Today is International Day of Women and Girls in Science. In #Bengal, female gender ratio in higher education institutions has gone up from 42% in 2010-11 to 47.3%. We have also extended #Kanyashree scheme to universities to encourage girls to pursue higher education,” tweeted Mamata Banerjee.
