Actor Evelyn Sharma’s Seams for Dreams- Mumbai based NGO hosted the 6th Annual FundRaising event-Garage Sale to encourage recycling and promote second-hand clothing at The Olive Bar & Kitchen in the bay.
Through this initiative, Seams for Dreams sells celebrity, influencer, stylist and designer wear at reduced prices and use the amount to sponsor their year round operations. Regina Cassandra, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Antara Motiwala, designers like The Jodi Life, Shaheen Abbas, Radhika Agrawal, Kunal Anil Tanna were among others to participate in the cause.
Seams for Dreams in a collaboration with FAD aims to clothe 100,000 underprivileged communities of the country. Being the fashion partner to the NGO, FAD students also displayed their creations on the event.
Talking about the event Sharma, stated, “It gives me so much pleasure to see the Garage Sale getting bigger and better with every passing year. The response has once again been overwhelming and it gives me tremendous pride to see SFD becoming independent from me. It has slowly become more like a movement in the film and fashion industry to give in absolute style!”
