Arvind Kejriwal hits out at Narendra Modi and asks “Where do you get the money to buy MLAs from?”


Hitting out at the Union Minister and Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Vijay Goel on Thursday for his remarks on Aam Aadmi Party‘s leaders wanting to switch sides with Bharatiya Janata Party, Arvind Kejriwal said that it is not easy to buy AAPs MLAs.

Arvind Kejriwal also targeted the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that “Modi Ji will you topple every government run by opposition party by buying MLA in the respective states and their respective parties? Has your definition of democracy changed? and what is a source of so much money to buy MLAs of the opposition parties?”

On Thursday Vijay Goel the BJP leader had said that 14 AAP MLA s wanted to leave the party because the party has changed its objective.

The statement came after Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal alleged that BJP is trying to buy the oppositions MLAs. In his remark, Arvind Kejriwal said that in the past 3 days seven MLAs have told him that BJP has approached them with an offer of 10 crores each if they joined the BJP.

BJP leader asserted that the party does not need to buy AAP’s MLA and claimed the allegations of offering 10 crores to the AAP’s MLAs as false.

He also asserted that Prashant Bhushan, Yogendra Yadav, Shazia Ilmi are those leaders who left the party saying that they felt stifled after the party drifted from its main objective. The leaders also alleged that the party came with an objective of removing corruption whereas itself resorted to corrupt practices.

The political parties have been exchanging alleged remarks on each other in the wake of the Lok Sabha elections 2019. The country has witnessed four phases of Lok Sabha election on April 11, April 18, April 23, and April 29. The remaining three phases of elections will be held on May 6, May 12, and May 19. The elections result will be announced on May 23.
