Shatrughan Sinha joins Congress; criticises BJP for its dictatorial policies

BJP insurgent Shatrughan Sinha officially joined the Congress party today as he came down vehemently on BJP’s policies.

Veteran actor and BJP rebel Shatrughan Sinha joined Congress today on the 39th foundation day of the center-right Bharatiya Janata party. Coming down on the BJP, Shatrughan Sinha criticized the party for its policies including demonetization. He further went on to say that BJP was a one-man party.

“In the one-man show, two-man army, everything happens from Prime Minister’s office… the ministers can’t work freely anyway. We have seen how democracy turned into autocracy,” said Shatrughan Sinha.

He also said that the part played by RJD Chief Lalu Yadav has been very significant regarding him joining the Congress. Shatrughan Sinha is likely to contest from Bihar’s Patna Sahib.

“…..Congress party, along with the alliance of Lalu and Tejaswi’s RJD. Long live our great India. Jai Hind,” he added.

As BJP celebrated its 39th founding day today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished party workers saying the BJP is likely to come to power again in 2019 and serve the nation the way it served for the last 5 years.
