7th January 2020 will be the last day for Windows 7, the software giant revealed that from that very date there will be no security update regarding Windows 7, The Indian Wire reported.

The users will get notified by the company itself, sooner or maybe earlier this month. As Windows 10 is now running on more than 800 million devices so might be the Windows 10 a reason behind it, but we cannot say anything now cause the company has not given the details why the Windows 7 is about to go off the air.

This update is available through Windows Update. If automatic updates are enabled, this update will be downloaded and installed automatically.

Users would be given an option to select the “do not remind again” option if they wish to get rid of the notification. The windows 7 will complete its 10 years on 7 January 2020. So let’s see, is Microsoft going to launch another version of Windows or not.
